Tzu Chi launches its relief program in Nepal with long-term outstation volunteers staying in Lumbini. A cousin of Venerable Bhikkhu Maitri from the International Buddhist Society, Dhundup Lama, provided her building for Tzu Chi to build a home in Buddha’s birthplace.

TC Helping An Orphaned
Tzu Chi volunteers have been carrying out missions in Nepal for 28 years. Starting from last year, Tzu Chi volunteers have been distributing food to impoverished villagers who have been affected by the pandemic.
