Tzu Chi launches its relief program in Nepal with long-term outstation volunteers staying in Lumbini. A cousin of Venerable Bhikkhu Maitri from the International Buddhist Society, Dhundup Lama, provided her building for Tzu Chi to build a home in Buddha’s birthplace.
