While visiting the local health clinic in Lumbini, Tzu Chi Singapore, Malaysia and Nepal Relief Team members found out that the medical equipment there were underutilized and not properly maintained. Hence, Tzu Chi volunteers invited its medical staff, coordinators from the community centre and local residents to join a ‘Tea Session of Love’. During the meeting, they shared about how Tzu Chi started and how it came about in Nepal, to spread the spirit of kindness in Buddha’s homeland.
