Spreading the seeds of love to encourage villagers to do good deeds

Tzu Chi volunteers held a charity campaign at the open space in front of Taulan’s house in Manauri village, the 4th District of Lumbini. The purpose of the campaign was to motivate locals to join the “Transforming small donations into great kindness” movement. On the day of the event, over 100 villagers had gathered at the venue to listen to volunteers’ sharing. Tzu Chi volunteers from Singapore and Malaysia collaborated with local volunteers to perform a drama along with simple sign language gestures. The performance helped the villagers understand the importance of doing good deeds, and encouraged active responses to the “A Good Deed A Day” campaign.
