Tzu Chi Provides Support in Challenging Times

During the scorching dry season, strong winds fuelled wildfires that not only engulfed many homes in Lumbini, but also swept through several villages in Kapilvastu District. The disaster area was in chaos, and while there were no casualties, villagers suffered severe property losses. Volunteers went door to door to assess the losses and needs of the affected people, providing them with warmth and comfort. A preliminary assessment shows that there are 43 affected households in Kapilvastu District. Tzu Chi will provide appropriate assistance based on each household's situation and help them through this difficult time.
