In Nepal, the Buddha's birthplace, Tzu Chi volunteers build on the foundation of 'Learning and Awakening', maintaining mindfulness while dedicating themselves to suffering beings. Volunteers learn through acts of giving, and grow through learning, rooting Tzu Chi's humanitarian spirit in a foreign land, hoping to transform the fate of those who suffer and bring more peace to the world.
