Gautam Buddha Basic School opened a new class this year, but due to insufficient classrooms, the second and third-grade students were assigned to the same classroom. Tzu Chi volunteers helped to build a new kitchen when they knew that the school wanted to repurpose the kitchen space into a classroom. With an extra classroom, students from both grades do not have to study together in one classroom. The new kitchen would continue to prepare meals, allowing the students to feel at ease while studying at school.
