Major flooding in Terengganu;Tzu Chi Volunteers distributed disaster relief supplies

Continuous downpour had caused many areas to be submerged in floods. The affected states not only included Kelantan and Kedah, Terengganu too which is situated on the East Coast of peninsular Malaysia was heavily affected by floods. Abnormal rainfall caused a total of 8 districts to be submerged by flash floods. With the help of the Malaysian Government many flood victims were temporarily evacuated to temporary evacuation centers and had received sufficient supplies. Yet there were some male villagers who chose to stay back to guard their homes. Hence, Tzu Chi Volunteers in Terengganu split up and headed towards different evacuation centers and flooded areas to provide care and supplies. In addition to distributing disaster relief supplies, they also provided a sense of warmth and hope to the hearts of the flood victims.
